OLP Radio Play

Post by Axtech »

This is odd. On Kingston's K-Rock, OLP songs always come right before a break, and right after every OLP song they play, the DJ says "And that was OLP with ___________". EVERY time. Since I started working (and listening to K-Rock at work) I still have yet to hear an OLP song followed directly by another song.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

In detroit OLP is usually in between other songs but they quite often seem to anounce that OLP is comming up a couple songs before it does.

They play OLP all the time on 89X, and not just SoT or Innocent either, they play a lot of random stuff of theirs. Plus, since I rarely ever listen to the radio and I hear them a lot that says something about how much play they get.

Yeah, what Melissa said. Plus, Y100 always plays whatever OLP single is out. I remember hearing all the big singles on there (well, the US singles... it seems OLP doesn't officially release as many songs in the US as Canada... or is it just that they don't get played here... whatever... you guys know what I'm saying ).

Too bad I loved (and I mean LOVED) all the singles I heard on Y100 but never bothered plopping the albums in my cd player more than once... or even buying SM. *hits self*

What aggrivates me is that at work yesterday I heard "Matchbox Twenty - Disease" four times, and heard Innocent once.

I don't really listen to 96.3 much. Then again, I don't listen to the radio much.
