No Mike wasnt in the group when they recorded it. Its a Gravity B-side. And i assume there already is a studio version recorded for the Dare Devil sound track. But since that song is apparently removed from the sound track, who knows when it will come up.

sounds great, but you can tell Raine needs alot more practice cause his singing during the verse is kinda shitty  :)
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

Although i'd like to make a real judgment after hearing a studio version... so far i like.

It reminds me of old OLP (Naveed and Clumsy...) I've been waiting for a return to a sound like that, and that's what this song sounds like.

The backing vocals in the chorus are really cool. The lyrics are pretty good too. I can see how this didn't fit on Gravity. I hope the next album is along the lines of this and Whatever.

Please tell me you are joking..... if not, Naveed was OLP's first album, way back in 94.

Either that or "Our time is fading" is what Gravity could have sounded like without Bobs supervision. Or did Bob help with the studio version as well? Anyway as far as im concerned gravity could have sounded very similar to "whatever" and "Our time is fading".

I'm not sure if he helped on the final cut of the song. But i do remember hearing that OLP worked with Bob on "The End Always comes Dry" which is supposedly the early title for this song. So i'm guessing that Bob helped out on this song.

I'm not really sure though....

True but Bob didnt like the song, so im guessing he didnt help out that much. Wont they ever learn? You cant make a OLP album worse by keeping songs...

Steve said the song probably wouldn't make the soundtrack. And I'm pretty sure Bob Rock was there when they were recording it. Don't know what gives people the impression that Bob didn't like the song. I don't think it fits that well with most of Gravity.
