Here are some songs I wrote. You can see my very first attempt compared to the ones I've written now. They still all suck though, in my opinion.

The roses that wither over time are like you
Just compared to the old who were once beautiful

Stars that explode inside the glittering universe
Like sand that slips if you grasp too tight

Wanted is your golden rays
Just please light the smiles upon our face
If you decide to stray away

That color and twist into making this poetic retelling
