Weird OLP dream ...

Maybe I'm listening to jsut a bit too much OLP lately. Not possible though right??

Anyways jsut thought I would share this weird dream I had

*Wayne's world dream sequence* DO li did do DO li did do .....

So I'm eating dinner or somethign with a few freinds in the middle of a mall in front of like a musicland or I guess FYE entertainment store. I start to hear a few OLP riffs and a make a mad dash for the store along with a mob of people. I get into the store and look around to find that it's upstairs.

I get up the staircase and there a smaller room and a wide entrane to the main room and forsome reason they weren't letting people in jsut yet. I was a bit confised and a security guard or whatever jsut put me in the front of the line.

So then OLP started playing again. I don't remeber whatsong they opened with but it wasn't All for you as they usally open with.

So I'm front row but I don't seem to remember anyone but Raine on the stage. As he was singing two friends of mine from high school (Who I ahvn't seen in years) came out dressed in my school's letterman jackets and adjusted some thigns and ran back. I rember yelling at one of them to crank I up.

Then next thing I can rember Chantel Krev. (I wont even attept to spell the name you all know who I'm tlakin about) is on stage and begins to sing something but I didn't know it but I faked enjoying it alot when she looked my way.

So then all I can remember is a computer system in front of me with her music video of the main song I know from her playing on the screen (Mind you this is just an avg. 17" computer monitor). Then when the video was over with we were looking over at her and she was sjut talking to some people on the other side fo the stage. So i reach out to the computer and play the next file listed and it's the intro to "Andy Richter Controls the Universe"

Next thing I know I'm walking out like a back door behind the stage into what seemd to be like a dctors office enviroment. I went to the bathroom and noticed some kind of notice on the towels (They were like pre-moistened alchahol towlettes or whatever) As I went bak ou I asked a nurse if it the notice was becasue of a fire hazzard. She said no it was because of a ventilation problem in some offices.

So I go back to the concert and it's aparantly ended and theres jsut a handful of people hanging around.

I spot my friend asleep on a couch and I go to wake her up. I apoligized for running off on her and hoped she enjoyed the show. She did but it got boring at the end. I said ok well let's go home then.

Weird huh?

I guess dreams of OLP may be standard for some of you people out there but I think this is a first for me. Just thoguht I'd share, feel freet to give me some freudian insight on this or subit OLP dreams of your own.

the other night I dreamt that the olp concert in Edmonton was coming up and a few things were different.

1. instead of seether and F11 opening, it was Ozzy and F11.
2. I had sent olp one of my band's demos, and the day before the show, olp e-mailed me, asking if my band would play at the show. We got as far as soundcheck, and the beginning of Ozzy's set before the dream ended.

Dude, those were some cool dreams. And this thread is perfect for the strange thing that's been happening to my dreams lately.

OK, well, I never ever used to remember any of my dreams. I still don't really remember much from them, and don't usually remember any detail. But, for some reason for the past few months, I've woken up remembering more than ever before (still not much, but vague details). I never ever used to dream about my favorite bands, and I've never had any dreams featuring any members of Oasis, Silverchair, or any of the other bands I like. Except OLP. For some reason, almost EVERY NIGHT for the past few months, I've had cameos in my dreams by OLP members. Usually Raine or Jer. I have no idea why. It seems my obsession has reached a subconscious level. :freak:

Should I be scared of myself? Check into a mental hospital? Or just enjoy the dreams?? :lol:

I think I'll just enjoy them. Hahaha. :lol:

Anyway, the one that I remember detail from was funny (to me anyway). I was outside, and it was really cold, and I was hopping around trying to stay warm. The band was there and Raine said, "oh, come on it's not that cold." Then I made some kind of crack about him being Canadian. Then we all laughed. :lol:

That's all I remember. Hahah. Oh man, I need help. :freak:

Kept my mind off the major history exam that I'm freaking out over.

I haven't had an OLP dream in forever. Maybe that's because I haven't been listening to OLP that much and I'm not going to a concert anytime soon.

For some very weird reason, the majority of my OLP dreams involve food. One time, I was at some guy's house, and OLP just walks in and is like, "can we eat dinner with you guys?!?!?" :lol:

I remember yelling at my brother because we were all watching tv on the couch and Kyle changes the channel, and Jeremy yells about it because it was his "favorite tv show."

and then I was at this little outside party thingy with the band, and I got mad at Raine because there was all this disgusting food and he took the last edible-looking comestible :roll:

ah, but my fav dream didn't involve food. :thumbs:

(thank god) I dreamed that I met Steve and he wanted me to watch a movie with him on the tour bus. :lol:

Nah, I didn't BASH Canada. But I made fun of it. To OLP. Something tells me they wouldn't find that amusing. :freak:

Well My dream was about my birthday( I think) and they OLP showed up at my house and they said that they were there to jam...Then the next thing that I know..is that Raine was playing Clumsy ona Ukele..Mike was doin something weird..(i forget) Then Duncan said I can get tickets for their show....if I can find a woman named Lee Ann Womack. and challange her to a game of Craps...at a casino....Then...i was at a casino and OLP was playin on stage cept Jeremy...there were no drums set up....and I could hear drums...so I follow the sound of thr drums then I find Jeremy in the Bathroom drumming.....He sais he had to got to the can...so jeremy was drummin while on the toilet...He was really goin at it too .Then I woke up...It was quite funny. and that is that

Self inflicted flu...........my brother gets that during exam weeks.

I had a dream that OLp was singing a benefit concert on TV. But the setting was something out of Fargo. Kind of weird. Raine was singing Are you Sad? That was my first OLp dream
