I just thought it was annoying that you just have to post something sarcastic on every single thread you read. Don't blame it on her, you couldn't do any better singing than her and if your an Our Lady Peace fan well, I love Raine's voice but many think it sounds like a cat dying when he hits the falsettos (my dad really makes fun of when he says "I" in "I remember feeling low, etc.) so it is just a matter of opinion.

You know what I find to be annoying? Some 12 year old who has a problem with everything everyone on here does. The only person that you like on here is Liam, and he was the most annoying person I ever encountered, until you opened your annoying little mouth. If you have been here longer than a month, you'd know I am a very sarcastic person, but no, you haven't, and you think you have some right to tell me to stop being me, which isn't going to happen. Shut up and leave the board like you said you would, ok? I don't think anyone would notice if you were to be gone anyway. Stop trying to fight with me, you're not going to win.

Oh yeah, how can you say I can't sing better than Yoko Ono? For one, you've never heard my voice, let alone me singing, so you can comment when you do. Are you a Yoko Ono fan, and do you appreciate her music and find it to be well done, because if you do, you are suffereing from a brain hemmorage, and need to get that checked out. Her stuff is horrible. There's a difference between Raine, who sings in falsetto because he finds that to work in his songs, and Yoko Ono who can't carry a fucking tune. She is tone deaf and is all over the place when she sings.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

...and about Glen Phillips, you're so lucky. Toad is one of my alltime favorite bands. Since you're out on the west coast, did you get a chance to see a Toad show yet?? I talked to the one guy from Lapdog (Todd's new band) and he said a Toad show is planned for Philly in February :) So happy... I missed Glen in Philly cuz I was at home at the time. How was he? Did he do many Toad songs? I don't like his solo stuff as much. The songs arent very deep lyrically, although very personal from what I read. I dont know, just dont seem as good as the older stuff.

Wednesday was the first Toad show in a number of years; I couldn't go because I am poor, but Glen came to my school for a solo performance, and that was 5 bucks, so I could swing it.

It was my second time seeing him live; he opened for Counting Crows in Portland last year. He's amazing. He just came out, no setlist, joked around, played a bunch of songs - Toad songs, stuff from his solo career, and several covers. He took requests; he played all of my favorites: Fred Meyer, Windmills, Walk on the Ocean, Train Wreck... it was extremely cool.

On a disturbing side note, the guy who opened for him was from a local band I'd never heard of, and he covered "Are You Sad?" Good lord. Do not - repeat - do NOT cover OLP if your falsetto sucks. Especially AYS, which is about 9 octaves above a normal voice range. I was about to go up there and kick him in the balls - might have improved his performance a bit...

But anyway, and all-around awesome show.

No, LIAM is NOT the only person that I like him although I do like him and I don't understand why you think he is annoying. Do you find everyone younger than you annoying? I like clumsybuffy, Aerindipity, happeninfish, Shorteegrrl (sorry if I got that wrong) and others too. But what is your deal? People have different opinions and just accept that! I've heard a lot of people who absolutely hate Our Lady Peace and does that mean we have a brain hemmorage (sp?) or that everyone who hates Our Lady Peace has a brain hemmorage?

Oh, and I forgot to mention that you being you may be really annoying to some people like me and me being me and Liam being Liam is annoying to you. Well, you can't really stop us from being us can you?

that's not out of place, because one day i will be on everyone's list of favorite songwriters :)
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I just watched Pac Man on the Cartoon Network a few minutes ago. Nothing like little balls celebrating Christmas.

I am still pissed that the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon was never made.
