HA! I waited 13 hours outside December 2000 (the day after that HUUUGE blizzard) to see OLP at Club Soda. = Best show ever.

I honostly doubt if they can ever top that. Ever.

The longest I ever waited was 7 hours but it was July and I just sat in the sun all day eating ice cream so it wasn't so bad :D

I waited 6.5 hours in line for Simple Plan and Good Charlotte.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

I waited for 12 hours in the biggest blizzard like in a very long time in Ottawa. I was inside but the blizzard was still there, and i still got up at 5:30 am to get in line (the snow was up to my knee, i swear) My mom was like "you can't go, it's going to be cancelled!" and i was like "no way mom, it's OLP" and i trudged off into the tundra/down the street in the dark.

Those were the days

I'm glad these OLP shows are going to be all seated so I don't have to queue. Though that is a great way to meet other fans.

The longest I've waited for was 3 hours in Manchester and that was only because we were already there and couldn't be bothered to go anywhere else. In Hamburg I waited 30 minutes and was front row, London ULU I think it was only 15 minutes (had to go to work that day) and I was second row.

Good Charlotte I went in while the support band were on and ended up standing right behind the moshing/crowd surfing area - probably 3 metres from the stage.

You guys should come to concerts over here - we're really spoilt.

When I saw them at the State Theatre (Sept 18), we got there at 2 am the night before, went to Greektown, came back at about 4, and waited, until about 17 hours later, when we finally didn't get in. The shitty thing was, we didn't even get front row, they let in all of the radio contest winners before us. I can't tell you how many people had to ask what the name of Naveed was. But still, I was second row, and for my 13th show, it was a pretty good one. :D

Hehe, I made my dad drive up tuesday night before the OLP Montreal club show. I went to bed at like 3 because it took us FOREVER to get there since that was the night of the blizzard. Then I had to listen to dump trucks hauling snow all night. Then I got up at 5 and got ready, went to check on the line (no one there) went back and ate breakfast. Then I went back to the line, and stood from about 7am to 8pm.

It was mad cold. -21 celcius, I still don't really know what it is in real temperature measurements :P
I had my snowboarding stuff on, and we took turns going into BK to warm up. My daddy bought me SM that morning and I listened to it in my discman all day, then heard most of it live that night. I'll never wonder why SM is my favorite album.

Note- if it gets cold enough, batteries don't work. a valueable lesson I learned.

*reminisce*

SM tour rocked like crack.

Ahhh I wish I went to a club show like you Anna. That must have been so amazing, really. The closest I've got was a place with 1500 people, back when people liked OLP for more than one song. Ahhh the good old days when people only crowdsurfed to Naveed, Starseed, and In Repair.....Unlike today where during any song you're bound to get booted in the head.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
