I think my dad took my blank Vancouver jersey to have Naslund put on it because I can't find it anywhere. He'll prolly wrap it up for X-mas or something because when I asked him about it, he said, "Uh..I don't know, you prolly stuffed it somewhere." Yahoo! February 7th, Sabres vs. Canucks, I'm wearing it.

Sabres suck. That's all there is to it.

Ouch, did you see the shot that took Hecht out? Jeez, it was coming hard and he was falling down...ouch. I guess his ear was just hanging and they had to sew most of it back onto his head. Yuck.

Canucks play the Avalanche tomorrow. That'll be a good one!

Jochen Hecht will score a bunch of goals, then Pat Falloon makes a comeback in the NHL and leads the league in points. Then the apocolypse will come, and we'll all go to hell.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Hey, stranger things can happen, like:

Player has knee and wrist surgery-likely out till the playoffs (if not all season).

Starting goalie out with a high ankle sprain before the season, misses first 28 games.

Backup golie hurts his groin
Backup to the Backup gpalie hurts his groin...
Backup to the backup to the backup hurts his achilles tendon
the team then uses the 4th string goalie

fractured foot. (also family troubles)

back spasms.

hurts his knee (out for the season).

chicken pox.

And Food Poisoning -- only dress 16 players.

And still be 2nd in the central....

 Poor blues. Haha, Pavel Demitra's got chicken pox. Yeah, I guess they tried to sew Hecht's ear back on, but they didn't really do too great a job. I guess it's pretty much impossible to make it look like an ear again. And he's got a really bad concussion, too. And Afinogenov still can't play because he's still got concussion symptoms from a hit back in the beginning of September. Bah, he was gonna be really good too.

Great win for the Canucks last nite. That was a really great game to watch. On Saturday, my 2 favorite teams are playing, Vancouver and Edmonton. Yee-haw!

I watched the Oiler and Wild game today. Let me be the first to say that the Oilers are going to make the playoffs this year ( and you know it's true cuz i'm a Flames Fan). They look really good this year.

I'm happy right now my Flames are finally starting to get it going. Hopefully they can string a streak of wins together and get back in the playoff hunt.

We still don't have a coach though.

Sounds like Ted Nolan may be the guy. It was weird, i was at thh Flames and Avalanche game on Saturday and after the Avs scored to make it 3-1, there was this huge "WE WANT NOLAN" chant around the arena. It was pretty funny.

The all-star ballots are actually made in october and really edited in late Oct, early November.

So that really doesn't leave much room for players with great starts. So that's why Cloutier isn't there.

Morrison should be there though, that Bertuzzi-Morrison-Naslund line is ridiculous
