OLP at Sarnia Bayfest?

Post by zipa_zowa »

Does anyone know if OLP is going to play Bayfest again this year?

They already played there July 11th .. I was there  I doubt they'd play it again next year if that's what you mean .. but if they are planning on it we wouldn't find out about it until around April/May 2003

Yippy! :D Bayfest! The holiest weekend in the city!

Rumours have been circulating around town since August. So far, Rush (very possable), Creed (very slim chance, but it's possable), Red Hot Chilli Peppers (no chance in Hell folks - Sarnia's a little too small for that one!) and Barenaked Ladies (extremely likely - they tried to get them for last year and it's been strongly hinted for ) are the major names that have been brought up. So, in a nutshell - don't count on OLP to be added.

(Just a quick personal note - I will cry if BNL comes. I won't be surprized because it's been strongly rumoured since last spring, but I will cry. Just had to say that. (I <3 BNL!))

BNL were at Music Without Borders. They do a great set.

Rush at Bayfest should be madness!

Whoa, Sarnia's "too small" for RHCP but not for Rush?! The peppers would be lucky to lick their boots!

BNL in Sarnia? Hmm, another concert to which I might drive even though I think it'll be 15 hours again.

I've seen them nine times, and each show was different and great. Except for the Barenaked Circus, which was still okay.

The word is in.

Thursday: unanounced at this point. (They didn't have it finallized, so they're going to announce it later. So far, the only hint we have is it's going to be huge.)

Friday: BARENAKED LADIES! (Yippy!)

Saturday afternoon: Sum 41 (I had a feeling they'd be added.)

Saturday night: Cheep Trick.
