Grad Write-up Quotes!

Post by Dumb and Jaded »

Well, it's that time of year...my grad write up is due in 4 days and I'm still freaking out about it.

I need an OLP quote, cause they have been my fave band/meant alot to me since I fell in love with them in gr 6 (wow, almost 6 years). So ya, I was looking through my clumsy booklet (fave album) and I was trying to think of other ones and I'm having a realllllllly hard time. So ya, help me think of good [relatively short, i only have 480 characters to work with here!] quote from an OLP song I can use....

Hopefully this will be beneficial to other graduating people as well

In my grad quote I did a fairly long and involved analysis of the line "Goodbye, the future's sold out, who thought we'd ever get this far", and how it applied to the context of graduation.

In my extensive search I concluded that OLP songs aren't meant for grad write-ups

At least not if you enjoyed high school

My fave lyric and quote of OLP has always been

climbing down the hours, I need to know now, do the hands of time only rule this chapter

and I must be too dumb to be proud.
