sweet blasphemy my giving tree
it hasn't rained in years
i bring to you this sacrificial offering of virgin ears
leave it to me i remain free from all the comforts of home
and where that is i'm pleased as piss to say
i'll never really know

in all my favorite pictures of myself, I look vaguely pissed off.
Same for you, apparently.

we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

This is from 11th grade so it's like..3-4 years old. Anyways, me and my friends were not cool enough to get dates to the prom, so we skipped it an instead went to the mall and tried on bundles of funny clothing/dresses and then took pictures of us posing all sexy like. We actually acquired quite a following that day, and we got kicked out of a couple of stores. This is a classy old lady (funeral black) dress from Sears.

Wow, you're amazingly attractive dressed up as an old lady at a funeral with multi-colored socks.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

i think i have the same problem as jacqui, whatever it is. i was prom dateless last year and most likely will be again this year. i'm just telling myself proms are dumb and unimportant. they are. reeking havoc at the mall does sound like a good alternative, or maybe i'll luck out and there'll be a good concert that night. ooo...

If you're gonna do anything at a mall, I recommend you look into my personal favorite activity, urban sledding. You may get kicked out of a mall, but it's a whole lot of fun. And let me say one thing, If I got prom dates my junior and senior year, anyone can get a prom date. Hell I got my senior prom date in one day, because I got dumped the day before my senior prom.
