'Satellite' songs?

Post by StaceyJ575 »

We were sitting around, talking about music, and I came to conclusion that if a song has the word 'Satellite' in it, I like it. So now I'm trying to make a list of songs either with the title 'Satellite' or just with 'satellite' in the song, to see if this is actually true. Can anyone help? I've just started, and I've got:

OLP - Supersatellite, the Wonderful Future, Somewhere out There
DMB - Satellite
POD - Satellite
U2 - Satellite of Love
Radiohead - Black Star
Foo Fighters - Learn to Fly

And now I'm stuck. :(

"I'm feeling you tonight
In the dream I think I'm falling
Bouncing off of the satellite
In the dream I think I'm flying
I feel you I feel you
Reach out and touch me will you
I'm feeling you tonight

It's amazing how many good bands/songs you can discover by searching for one word. I made cd's about Superman, Crashes and Coffee and they ended up being pretty good.

Whoa...that's a lotta satellite songs! Some of these I've never heard, I'm going to have to see if the satellite theory works.

It's a great way to discover new bands.

Those Satellite songs sound awesome, I think I'll make a cd out of them too.

Hmmm, that's a good idea! What was on your Superman CD, EuroLadyPeace? I'm thinking of doing one with the following:

Superman's Dead - OLP (of course)
Jimmy Olsen's Blues - Spin Doctors
Gravity Affects Me - Collapsis
That's Really Super, Supergirl - XTC
Superman - Five For Fighting
Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
Where Are You Going? - Dave Matthews Band
Metropolis - Kraftwerk

Others?

the I'm No Superman - the Scrubs theme. I don't know who it's by, but it's a catchy tune.
