Manager

Most (if not all) bands have a manager. Who is OLP's manager? Why haven't I ever heard his/her name before?

It's Eric Lawrence. I think.

He's been there for quite awhile if i remember. At least since Clumsy.

Ya, Eric Lawrence.

He's always around, lol! He took the picture of me, my friend, and Raine at the ACC, and also took the pictures of us with Mike and Duncan when we met them on Canada Day 2000 in Ottawa.

He's super nice from what I've seen of him, he's always like "I'l take the picture!" and they usually come out nicely centered, lol.

That, of course, is the most important thing to look for in a manager. Picture taking ability.

I met Eric in Paris last night. He seems nice, though we didn't really get to talk as he was trying to get Raine and Duncan away from signing autographs and having photos taken and into a taxi that was waiting for them. He was at the Manchester show too and remembered seeing me there.

An of course picture taking is the most important quality!!!!!

yah, most do...unless the're the poor ones that have to load, unload AND drive themselves to the diferent venues!!!!! ut OLP have two reg. managers(one is arnold lanni's brother) and then kevin meikle who is theirtour manager

. some of them make great great music. have you heard of explosions in the sky? theyre a van-band, and from the 4 songs i heard by them, theyre great.

OLP are fronted by a firm known as Coalition Entertainment.

Eric Lawrence is their tour manager and I'm pretty sure Rob Lanni handles more of the administrative stuff. This is the same company that fronts Joydrop, finger eleven and A SImple Plan among others.

Rumour has it that part of MGB's feud with OLP comes in part from a dispute with Coalition Ent.

Just for interests sake, the person in charge of the Internet marketing of OLP is a lady named Devi Ekanand. She was in fact, the person who spoke to me when I have up olp.net years ago.

as Soozj posted earlier, we got to meet Eric in Paris.(finally). He ahs been at a few shows I was at but never got to meet him.
