I just got back from the john mayer concert, ewwwwww it sucked

i just went with a friend because he has come to 4 olp concerts with me this year and the concert was literally 7 minutes from my house.

given i am not the biggest john mayer, okay i pretty much hate most of his songs, but he is highly overrated.

First thing first we get there and the place is huge, considerable to a normal club. and is sold out to a bunch of pretty boy and girl prep kids ewwwwwww, tons of the typical girls going oh he is so cute, and guys going John Mayer awesome, or john mayer is fucking sweet dude(gag me)

Opening Band was this blues band featuring a guy who play an awesome slide gutair, which most of the thick head audience could not appeciate because they have no clue really what good music is.

Then came mayer, All the girl went crasy blah blah yada yada yada  , he actually played why goergia pretty damn well. Then i became annoyed with the crowd again, through john mayer song people would just scream when he sang and after did a gutair solo, which when doing he looks like a crack head trying to make out with a trash can, no one cheers, it is like when he actually shows he real talent which playing gutair not singing shitty songs no one gives a fuck  .. even when he sang less than half of the crowd knew the words.

i guess i got more pissed off at the fact that all these people make him so popular when he isn't that good, and the talent he does have "these fans" don't care about

This concert lead me to make the shit i am wearing to school tomorrow it says " I must be cool, cause i went to a John Mayer concert"

i guess could have gone in the angry rant thread, but none of you will prbably read it anyways and if you do i am sorry for any spelling and grammar errors

LOL, though I must say I disagree with your assessment of John Mayer, I totally agree with your assessment of the concert. I saw him play five songs, and if I heard one more teenybopper scream, I was going to stab my eardrums, which are already scarred because of many ear infections as a child.

My mother found out yesterday/today she doesn't have school today/tomorrow. And yes, she teaches in Connecticut. The town she teaches is was on CNN! I was like "WHOA, THE TOWN MY MOTHER TEACHES IN IS ON CNN!"

I just decided to close my livejournal and open a new one with the code my old one generated.

That's about it

There was a fatal stabbing last night down the block. They're not releasing the identity of the victim yet, but given the location it's most likely a student at my U. They showed the crime scene on TV, and I realized, "Hey, I walk by there every day!" Great boost of confidence, that.

Guess my late-night outings are permanently curbed...

Hi Susan.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.
