i still prefer my basement. i live in thornhill, so it isnt much of a trouble.

This isn't a professional industry site, but will give you a good idea nonetheless. It's just meant as a guide for college student associations who want to throw concerts. You can take a look at OLP's listing. Compare them to others... they're not really THAT expensive overall. They don't have any rules like "no colleges"... they'll play anywhere, it seems. And they're willing to book next spring.
Go for it people! $30 000 (USD) is all it takes.
