I never said Raine was a better Musician, I said Raine's vocals add another level to the song. I love Neil Young's work especially his stuff with CSN, but Raine's vocals will blow his outta the water anyday.

I think Raine does have an added dimesion to his voice. Neil Young is great, but we are allowed to appreciate Mr. Maida's excellent voice........it gets me up.........wait I have to go the bathroom, I just blew my load.

Hey Curtis pay them no mind. I am not a big JEFF BUCKLEY Fan, but I love OLP's version of Eternal Life.. so if you like how Raine sings Needle better then Neil so what, so be it. I actually like OLP's version better. It is bluesy, sexual. I don't care for Neil Young's version> Too slow.
I always felt that OLP has this imense talent where they can do a cover and make it sound like it was one of their own songs. That to me is talent. It doesn't matter if I like the origianl song. I love all the OLP covers.
