I've become addicted to them lately... I only have one of their albums, so can anyone here tell me what their favorite I Mother Earth albums are in order (so I can search ebay for them! we don't get many of their albums here... one if your lucky enough to find it)

I Mother Earth are fawking great! If you don't have Scenery & Fish, I'd get that one first... but anyways, here's how I'd rank their albums (with my favourite songs off each album in brackets):

1) Scenery & Fish (Like A Girl, Used To Be Alright, One More Astronaut, Another Sunday, 3 Days Old, Shortcut to Moncton, Sense of Henry)

2) Dig (Levitate, Not Quite Sonic, So Gently We Go, Rain Will Fall)

3) Blue Green Orange (Love Your Starfish, Good For Sule, When Did You Get Back From Mars?, Infinity Machine, Autumn on Drugs)

One of the best Canadian rock bands around today!

I Mother Earth is one of the best bands around IMO. They constantly put out great music.

Check out their new track "Juicy" if you can find it on the net... its on the XXX soundtrack.

1. Scenery And Fish is a great album. Also their biggest. Not as agressive as Dig, but a better album. Great album.. just great.

2. Dig is a bit harder in terms of music. Still a good album though. Songwriting is better in S & F

3. Blue Green Orange isn't a bad album. Musically the album is probably their best... I just like Edwin's voice a lot more than Brian's. Summertime in the Void sums up the album for me. Amazing music, not so hot singing.

Great Band though... hopefully these guys get going again. We need all those old Canadian Bands to get their act together. That means you MOIST.

Nope.. they're from Toronto.

They were pretty good friends with OLP when Naveed came out. In fact they took OLP on their first cross Canada tour i believe.......

I'm not sure if they keep in touch anymore though.

Before I was a big fan of OLP, I always thought I Mother Earth and Our Lady Peace were like the same band or something. Maybe it's because their names are structurally the same. Or something.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?
