The Matthew Good Appreciation Thread

Cheers.
You spelled Our Lady Peace incorrectly, you don't deserve to be on this board.
On the other hand, welcome to this thread, we all agree that Matt Good is way better than OLP in every way there is.
LIAM won himself a limited edition of Audio of Being! And if things go right he'll also earn himself a copy of Loser Anthem!!!! Go LIAM!
Al's emails put a smile on my face, even though all they say is "You've got a private message!"
he gets Loser Anthems as well???
wow lucky guy

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

holy crap, you're gonna be experience LA and AoB at once?
brace yourself.
on a side note, has anyone noticed how the end of running for home and the beginning of man of action kinda blend together? maybe matt good wanted the two albums to run together... though LA was also an attempt to bridge the gap, it just makes the two seem like they're intended as two parts of one mega-album.

Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!
The Weapon video is out! For those who haven't watched it go to www.matthewgood.net !!!!!!
I won't say it's good, but it would say it's full of Matt Good element in it, very scardonic, very witty, very "Good".
It almost looks like it's directed from a Japanese director, I don't know why I think that, perhaps most Japanese material I've seen contains a lot use of "text".
And not to mention, it's definately an anti-thesis to "Somewhere Out There".
[Edit]
All of a sudden, I think I get what Weapon means now. It's the growth of Matt Good as a musician, how he changed from conforming into how the music industry functions, to rebelling it, and now to a mature state that he understand it and controls it. Thus it goes from Here by my side an angel, here by my side a devil to Here by my side is heaven. Obviously, Running For Home was a period where Matt Good was trying go against the direction that music was going toward, now he has abandoned that idea, with a more mature, refined set of mind and music.
I'll be expecting his new manifestos, and not to mention the new album.

^ i think once someone views it you can no longer delete it, but i really liked your interpretation and i also can't wait for the new album. i'm getting it no matter what! I love weapon.
My interpretation: I think this song's about everyone who lets life pass them without actually living "don't turn your back on it" "Here by my side an angel" "Here by my side the devil" "here by my side an angel" and in the video where it says " wait, wake up" (and whatever else) i say this song is all about living our lives and not letting it pass us by. (note: there's more but i'm gonna go eat breakfast)

i think that there's some at www.azlyrics.com. i warn you first, that place is LOADED with pop-ups.

I'll now publically state that I couldn't find Loser Anthem, so I'm burning a copy of it for LIAM, hopefully I'll find it before the release of Avalanche and send both cds to LIAM.
I guess this is bad news for LIAM and good news for Mr. Good, he "sold out" his ep!
