Jer's solo
According to Rich and Shelley's the setlist to the Washington DC show on 10/22 there was a drum solo between Mafia and The Birdman.
Did anybody hear it?

The Birdman has an 8 measure drum intro when done live, but so does Innocent. If that's what it was, I would expect to see another one in the setlist before Innocent.
And besides, there's a review up on Rich and Shelley's site now:
"Some highlights of the show were.....Jeremy's drum solo with a super corresponding light show"

Umm, yes. It's possible that there have been other shows where Jer did solos. But take a look at all of the bootlegs floating around and try to find one where Jer does a true solo. Or look at the setlists on Rich and Shelley's site. As far as I can tell, between the years 1995 and 2002, OLP didn't play around with their songs and put in extended solos very much. But now they're definitely doing that kind of stuff, and I love it.

no, that was just the beginnning to birdman. they extended the drum intro with strobes and then it goes into birdaman. it happens again on the "i feel him" part also. That review you are talking about seperated the new parts of the songs as something different. I am sure they didnt play all of life like they said just those two lines like usual. Probarly a new fan but none the less still a good review just a little confusion.

The setlist person appears to be a new fan, yeah, but, like I said earlier, when played live the beginning of Innocent is as much a drum solo as the beginning of The Birdman, and he didn't notice that one. The review was from a different person, and the review guy didn't separate the new parts of the songs or make any mention of Naveed/Life. Maybe Jer did a solo and maybe he didn't. I'd like to hear from somebody who was there.

guys I went to both DC shows and as I have told people who I know who are fans I tell them to watch Jeremy at the end of Birdman with the lights and all. it fucking rocks. That is probably what they were talking about because to someone who never saw the show you would think it is a drum solo, but it is just how they reworked the song to have the jam at the end with the lights and all. I even told Jeremy this is amazing.
