Creed, Default, Nickelback, Theory Of A Dead Man, and countless others, are all just pathetic Pearl Jam wannabes. If Eddie Vedder were dead he'd be doing calisthenics in his grave.

The Start

Alien Ant Farm (idk i just always had a problem with this band, its kinda sad when the best thing you can play is a michael jackson cover)

Godsmack

Limp Bizkit (lol i asked my friend whatever happened to them the other day and she's like "I think the Bizkit's back in the oven")

worst rappers i ever saw:

xibit, DMX

The Start is HORRIBLE, I've had to listen to them twice. Apparently they are not making enough money though, because she can't afford to buy a bra.

 ahh TWICE? that sucks as much as me having to sit through AAF twice. TS were pretty awful, i just remember trying to be really open minded about their music and just having my mind shut down after about 15 mins of them. just to be fair, i saw them at shitty jones beach which has bad acoustics, but i don't think thats enough to explain the terribleness

OLP is coming back to Utah in December with Creed. I honestly don't think I could go, even though I know I could skip out after OLP played..I'd still have to put up with people who like Creed.

Hmm... Creed isn't horrible, but I won't argue with them thinking theyre Gods. That isn't cool. Some songs like Sister and Torn and With Arms Wide Open are just good. Although for as many songs of theirs that I love, there's just as many that I just don't want to listen to. Also, The Start wasn't THAT bad. I saw them open for Weezer and I thought they were pretty good. They did a Nirvana cover that was actually awesome. Just my opinion tho...

I don't mind Creed too much .. I don't like their image or their videos but they do have some cool songs and I have their first cd .. I won't buy another one but I don't immediately turn their music off like I do with Nickelback and Default if they come on the radio ..

You people might be surprised (especially the non-Canadians), people out there think OLP to be just like one of those "Default/Creed/Nickelback" bands that you guys mentioned. I won't say Creed is bad to a point where it's unbearable, I would say it's overplayed and they aren't as they used to be (My Own Prison).
(everything below this line doesn't make much sense to myself after reading it so don't bother, it's 5 am right now )

Let's just say this, we (as in we, including myself) all have to same conseption that music is bad because it's popular. Recently I'm trying to listen to bands with the notion that they are musicians and I should only try to appreciate the music and nothing else. Try listening to a song before knowing what band it is, you'll be surprised.

I don't think it's a question of the bands popularity .. I don't care how popular a band is or isn't .. if you think their music sucks, it sucks .. that's all .. Nickelback and Default may be 'popular' but in my opinion their music still irritates the hell out of me and I'd still think that even if people barely knew who they were ...

Bit late perhaps, but what the heck...

Worst band I have ever heard: Local band called "Good Kids Pretend They're Bad". Screamed gibberish over squealing nonsensical guitars, disturbing drums, and miked horns. MIKED HORNS!!! In a club the size of my bathroom. Oh my bleeding ears...

Other bands I generally detest: Gin Blossoms. All their songs sound the same. To me. Next: O-town. Manufactured on television no less...and Liquid Dreams? And whoever suggested Insane Clown Posse - I'm in total agreement. That's a general "What the...?" type band.

And in case you are rivetted and want to know more about moi - most disliked song in my "repetoire": Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. That song makes grit my teeth down to tiny nubs.
Somehow you'll escape all that wanting and staying. You'll find the bright places where Boom Bands are playing. - Dr. Suess
