Homework Poll

For English, we have to pick a song that has a profound meaning and uses a variety of literary terms. I have to summarize the song and tell what my interpretation of it is and what it means to me. After much scrutiny, it's a tie between IAH and Carnival. Which one should I do, and why? I'm leaning toward IAH, but I want some other opinions. Thank you.

Yeah, I had to do the same thing in my Com class, and was going to pick Carnival, but I chose "Fuck You Aurora" by Alkaline Trio instead.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Is Anybody Home seems to have a more profound meaning to it, and lines like "Nazi breast feeding" and "White teeth, a ticket to meet God and, beyond that you envy" have more room for interpretation than "Sign said, yoga class for cats".

It just seems that IAH is a better choice, plus, I think more people will get hooked by IAH than Carnival.

It's "White teeth, a ticket to meet God and, be all that you envy."

I hate correcting people, but I'd rather do it than let you think incorrectly.

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

carnival has a really deep meaning to it according to what Raine wrote it about. Since its your own interpertaion though carnival may be hard but I would probarly choose it.
