Our Lady Peace Vs. Spice Girls

June 24, 1997

Last week, Our Lady Peace beat up/out (take your pick) The Backstreet Boys on Much Music's Combat des Clips. This week, OLP take on the Spice Girls. Cast your vote, victory is determined by you, and watch this Sunday.

At least OLP is still around, maybe more popular than back then, but it can be a good thing I suppose. A concert just wouldn't be the same without the teenage girls screaming, because they think the members of the band are "cute". We've been down with OLP since Now4 or 3 darnit! *continues his retired navy veteran slurs and random ranting*

Just one question concerning this horrible event. Do OLP have to OK this??? God, I hope this was a record exec decision. If they can turn down Spiderman because they don't want him in their video, but can't turn down a cd that will only be bought by masses of people with SHIT for taste who will start over running OLP shows and pretending to be fans and only knowing SOT and blankly staring during Neon Crossing and never knowing there used to be a Mike and not knowing anyone except Raine and I hope they ALL DIE!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:

Gah. I went to some OLP shows and people only knew SOT and Innocent along with ^ reactions. I can't handle it anymore. When fingertight came out I heard a "AHH! look at Raine, he's so cool, I love him" Yeah, don't we all, wait a few hours and you can see him, asshole.
Or when Steve walked off the bus and someone yelled "Raine" to him?!?! Oh, there are OTHER members of the band? Cause I thought they were like boybands and all have similar names and look the same, cause I sure as hell can't tell them apart.

People like that deserve to fall in holes and die. If you have NO FUCKING CLUE what you are talking about, do everyone a favor and keep your mouth shut.

NOW 11 will continue this horrible trend. I want to kill myself.

I saw the commerical today and it is horrible. :cry:

Jer has the unfortunate pleasure of being on it twice (SOT and Hero). SOT appears at the end in a little bubble when they are showing the ordering information. I still think this is NO GOOD. :evil:
