Hey, Beth! I heard Bright Eyes on the radio today. The title had something to do with oranges, I couldn't hear it clearly. A Bowl of Oranges maybe..I don't know.

I just found out that a friend that I worked with got hit by a car and died this evening. Her friend, and my friend, died from cancer earlier this year. My mom told me yesterday that a dad on my brother's hockey team died from cancer a few days ago. Last week, my friend's friend's brother committed suicide.

I just realized how much I've gone through this year. My favorite high school teacher was dying from cancer, too, but supposedly, she's getting much better and may start teaching soon.

Sometimes I wonder why things happen. I consider myself a religious person, and it's hard to hold on to my beliefs when I see so many bad things happen.
