Someone in my hall has a Soundblaster Audigy Platinum, comes with this drive thingy. From the looks of it, most standard inputs are accepted. Looking at somewhere 160 american, 220 canadian. I'm pretty sure my calculations are wrong, maybe thats why I'm going to fail my math class.
Take a hike, you Shatner stealing Mexico touchers.
good recording equipment is very expensive. if i were you i'd look in the yellow pages for a music shop that rents stuff out. you can usually rent decent equipment for about $50-$100 for a weekend.
If you want studio mic or condenser mic, you will need a phantom power mixer, he has a Behringer Mixer and it cost $80 USD.
For studio Mics I would recommend the CAD M-37, they go for around $119 USD online.
As for software, CoolEdit pro can cost you up to $300. That's the one he recommended.
I forgot to ask him about line-in, obviously you can use your computer sound card, but I'm pretty sure there's something that gives you better quality.
That's all for now.
Al's emails put a smile on my face, even though all they say is "You've got a private message!"
if you really wanna record and can plaay some songs just rent out a studio for a few hours, my brother did that, though he barely had to pay anything for it but i'd wanna know how much they really cost.
anyway when i wanna mix a song i usually you magix
