just to continue with the bad news...
I was sposed to go to London tomorrow for 3 days for a leadership conference... thats now cancelled... last night at a variety store on a busy street in Welland a car skidded accross the road, hit 4 ppl who were outside of the store who happened to go to my school and then went straight into a tree... the 4 kids and the driver were all killed... I dont even know if I know them cause names havint been released cause it happened at about 10:30 last night.

Stuff like this doesnt happen in Welland, so when it does it's a pretty big deal.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I sooooooooo wanted to go, but i couldn't. I had to work and i had to study

This was my day yesterday:
School: 8:00am - 11:00am
Studying: 11:10am - 4:00pm
Work: 4:15pm - 9:30pm
Studying: 9:45pm - 2:00am

It seems all i ever do is go to school. And when i am not in school, i am at work. And when i am not at work, i am doing homework. And when i'm not doing homework, i'm sleeping. Don't i lead the most exciting life?

Nothing like drinking with your mother....

My parents still think I am going out with Steph, even though I was dumped a while ago....maybe I should let them know?
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I've been known to watch the Antique Roadshow. It's great to see people's reactions. Like this one guy thought he had a gun from the Civil War and the appraisers told him it was just a toy and was worth, at the most, $10. The guy looked like he was gonna cry. It was classic.

what? The Antique Roadshow kicks ass!!!! Really, it does!

oh, and my mom is turning into "the cool mom" or something. It's really strange. She doesn't care when I swear in front of her, she lets me drink, and she doesn't care that I'm going to skip school and go to the Toronto concert. :wtf:

I think it's because I'm growing up.

And you're taking pictures for us and posting them on the board, right? Or you can just send them to me. That would be super.

Me too! I especially love the semisubliminal repetition of "lock the door", which has reminded me to do so on countless occasions whilst driving, thus saving my stuff from an untimely burglary.

Dilemma: My parents have offered to collaborate on buying my a bass and amp set up, as a sort of end all be all present for this year and several years to come. Now, I could (and really want to) save my own money for the same thing, but at the same time I really want to put that money towards university, and I don't even have a job yet, so I would be money-less (and guitar-less) for months and months. So, should I ask the folks to show me the money, and put my own money towards school, or should I bite the bullet and save for the guitar?
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Mooch off the parental units as much and as often as you can. Before you know it, you'll be financially independent. (And that sucks.)
