Frequently Asked Questions
Toronto A.C.C. Show, November 1
1.1 I got a pair of tickets through the Satellite/OMA, where do I go to pick them up?
Tickets obtained through the Satellite must be picked up at the Edge Studio, 228 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON before Wednesday, October 30 at 6 p.m. All the fans showing up for tickets must bring *TWO* pieces of i.d. (including one with a photo.)
1.2 What are the Edge’s opening hours?
From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET
1.3 I’m under 19. Do I need to be accompanied by an adult to go pick up the tickets?
No, you do not need adult accompaniement to pick up the tickets. However, even though this is an all-ages show, you are required to have adult supervision at the show because of give-away regulations.
1.4 Can an adult supervise more than one person? Can we be three minors with one adult?
Yes.
1.5 I won’t be able to go to the Edge before Wednesday, October 30. Is there a way I can pick them up later?
Yes. You can also pick up your pair of tickets the day of the show at the A.C.C box office before 6 p.m. Make sure to bring I.D. After 6 p.m., all unclaimed tickets will be released.
1.6 I don’t have a photo i.d…what do I do?!
If you have a birth certificate, that will do.
1.7 I live way too far from Toronto to come pick up the tickets before the day of the show. Can you mail them to me, or can I pick them up the day of the show?
You can pick them up before 6 p.m. the day of the show at the A.C.C.
1.8 My friend and I both won a pair of tickets…would it be possible to get four seats together instead of two pairs?
Because of the huge quantity of tickets we’re giving away, we can’t accommodate special requests for seating.
1.9 Is the venue general admission?
No, the entire venue is reserved seating. This applies to floor seating as well.
1.10 I have questions not answered in this F.A.Q…Should I contact the Edge directly?
This one is important: Please do not call the Edge! The kind folks at the Edge graciously agreed to the use of their facilities to distribute the tickets, but the logistics of the distribution are coordinated by the band’s management and record company. If you call the Edge with any questions relating to the ticket giveaway, they will refer you to www.ourladypeace.com
Please ask any question relating to your tickets in this topic or by e-mail to olp@netcom.ca (with 'ACC Show' in your subject line.) But please…do not call or e-mail the Edge!

Wow, this fucking blows. I need an adult to go to the concert. I am 18 and I am fucked. Why can't they be like EVERY OTHER FUCKING CONCERT and make the drinkers wear wristbands and card people? You Canadians are ass backwards.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

um.... yeah I think I'll just find somebody that looks nice and is over 19 to 'escort' me into the concert... do you think that will work?
Thanks Marie for posting this.
I grabbed my satellite tickets this afternoon. Row 25, seats 8 & 9 -- which apparently lands me at the front of floor section 6.
For the out of towners -- if you can't get to the Edge for your tickets, those tickets will (obviously) be re-released some how. Which means, the Toronto people will end up with more. That might be me. On top of those being released again, us Toronto folk still have the Best Buy in-store events, call-ins, and street team events to hit up. Even still, by my calculations there are 4000 tickets unaccounted for. My guess is those will be distributed through Inside Edge + other sources.
Anyways, it's likely the Toronto locals will end up with multiple pairs. I will be glad to, at my own cost, overnight Fedex anything else I get to fans WHO HAVE NOT THROWN A TANTRUM ON THE MESSAGE BOARDS. If you can maintain some maturity towards OLP, The Edge, Best Buy and those organizing the event, I'll do my best to hook you up. I suggest others with extra tickets adopt a similar policy. The "this fucking sucks, how dare they do that to me. I'm a true fan, I could organize this so much better" attitude is getting old.
Regarding 19+ -- even the Edge reception handing out tickets said this probably won't be enforced. My guess is the rule must be included so this contest is consistent with Ontario rules and regulations.
Okay, I've said everything I need to say.

this is bullshit. My buddy from Rochester won tickets to the show. So we would of had a total of 6. But he went on vacation for a week and won't back in time to get the ticket, HE WON!. What the F#@$, this is retarded, yeah the free concert thing is great, but come on, we have six people here in rochester who are die hard fans who want to go, we won enough tickets to accomidate all of us going, but now that my friend is gone. that leave us with 4 tickets. This sucks. To hell with this idea man. Why couldn't they of sold half the seats or something like that. I have to drive three fucking hours to pick up my tickets within a week. This is crap. Why the hell is it so hard to mail the tickets?
I hope olp catches wind of all these problems and makes some changes before you have a shitload of ticked off diehard fans

Thanks Kyle! thats such an awesome thing you're gonna do!
If I lived in Toronto I would do the same, I think I'd much rather have OLP fans there then just ppl who decided they want tickets cause its a free show...

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

There is no way in hell the ACC is gonna be checking ID to see if you are under 19 and if you are with an adult. Stop worrying about it so much.
Oh yeah, and i talked to my friend today, whose brother works at best buy and he said he was going to ask him tonight. So i might get an extra pair of tix i might be able to give out. Plus, the tix i won from the satellite.
