I'm a big fan, but I haven't been for very long. I just went to their concert in Edmonton on Sunday night, absolutely amazing.

...I kind of like a couple of songs.

I know that APC and Tool are different in sound, but I borrowed my brother's APC cd and it didn't do anything for me.

Not even the Hollow? I think that's a great song.

As for myself, I'm a big fan. I saw Tool last Thursday. They were amazing. I was completely enthralled when they played Triad. That was actually my least favorite song off Lateralus before I heard it live, but when they brought out a guest drummer and cranked it out, it just blew me away. I was reminded why Danny Carey is the best drummer ever -- his drumming is powerful, intricate and flawless and it really moved me.

Holy shit! You have got to be kidding around! I can't believe I didn't know about that!! I would of loved to go...

Can anyone reccomend their favorite tool songs to download? Perhaps a cd?
I like more of their mellow music, not the hard rock stuff.

TOOL OCTOBER 28th !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE TOOL. I'm going to see them FINALLY for the first time October 28th. School night, on crutches, on a monday........I just said "mom, I have a ride, its TOOL, sorry.....I'm going"
Now I just have to tell her that the four guys I'm going with decided that it would be easier to rent a hotel room for the night, rather than drive right home. Heh.......

You'd probably like A Perfect Circle more. APC is absolutely beautiful.

Tool is beautiful in that wonderful, entropic way, heh.

I'm a big fan.

Ya I just saw them last tuesday in Calgary, 8 hour drive, slept in the vehicle, it was so worth it. Best concert I've ever been to. and it was SOOOO LONG. well Tool does have like 10 minute songs after all.

Maynard did his little robot dance in lateralus. Kick ass.

The only fucked up thing was how much the tool merch costs at the venue.

40 bucks for a t-shirt, 60 for a long sleeve shirt. Holy CRAP. I mean I could only afford 10!!! minus 9 of course...

like lando said it was worth the 8 our drive although i drove and he slept

it was definitly the best concert ive ever seen.

as for which songs to download, i wouldnt be able to give you a valid suggestion, because there is no tool song i dont like.

lateralus was the song that blew me away the most at the calgary concert though. It was truly amazing

Big fan.

The videos do seem to creep quite a few people out.
Brilliance has that effect.

I saw TOOL this past Monday. It kicked ass. They are so good that if you close your eyes, its like a SUPER cd........so tight.

Maynard is a god. They are all Gods.
Meshuggah, however, are not gods. Nor are they good.
