I went out with the perfect girl last night. She is 20, beautiful, great face, brunette hair, absolutely hilarious, quite intelligent, and incredibly nice. We spoke for hours last night. I mean, we talked non stop from 9 until 2:30, then we talked on the good ol' computer for an hour after that. Here's the "way to go Alan" part. She has a boyfriend. I find a great girl, and her boyfriend. They're having a fight at the moment, and instead of telling her to dump the guy, I tell her ways to try and work things out with him. I had my chance to be with this girl before too, but I chose to go out with Steph instead of her. Way to go Alan, work out everyone else's problems except yours

I am gonna go beat myself with a blunt object now.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Don't beat yourself up over that. You did the right thing. You don't wanna be known as the guy who ruined their relationship, and it's more more honourable this way. If things don't work out between them then go for it but don't give her pointers on how they can break up.

Someone tell my why I'm on a 36-hour sleep-wake cycle when everybody else is on 24?

It makes life difficult.

My brother just finished banging LOUDLY on his drum pads.... I'm bitter with my mother because I wanted to be a drummer SO BAD in 4th grade and she told me I had to play a "real instrument" for band. She also told me that I wouldn't stick with it because I'm a girl. I don't care, I will teach myself if I have to and join the drumline next year.

That's the spirit!
I'm a girl and I play drums. Taking them up has been one of the best decisions I've made. I love it

Yeah, I am planning on buying myself a bass guitar in the near future. And in the punk tradition, it will be littered with stickers. I wanna be the next Dan Andriano.

Very good. I went to the football game the other night and my friend pulled us over to watch him and all the drummers have a "drum-off" against the oppoosing team... Arms flying everywhere, beads of sweat... It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life. I plan on scrapping together a few hundred dollars and buying a used set off of someone. I cant decide if I want that or an epiphone, though...

I am happy I have a musical understanding and my friend has a badass Fender. I go to his room frequently and just jam out to Sublime. I might be off sometimes, but I am learning.

dude. i disagree with that other guy. you have to undermine the boyfriend. i mean really, it's not like she is going to marry this guy, right?

look at it this way: you are doubtlessly a billion times better then the scum sucking piece of shit she's got right now, right? he no doubt treats her like shit and is probably incredibly selfish in the bedroom. he also has a small penis and is therefore incapable of pleasuring her.

she needs you to get rid of this lowlife who has no redeeming traits. if you really cared about her, you would do this, not for you, but for her.

you see, you didn't really work out her problem, because her boyfriend is the problem. you are the solution. now go get 'em, tiger.

^ Yeah, I have had that feeling a lot. Especially when I am waiting for a phone call from a certain person < ahem >

And I wish I could go ahead and break them up, because she will never marry this guy, but I have a miniscule conscience, and it won't let me do it.
