is it really that good when i heard their new single i thought the cd was gonna suck

yeah, the first few times i heard '100 girls' i didnt like it at all, but its started to grow on me...theres some really good stuff on the new cd, though. of course 'kick some ass' is great, but check out 'latest disaster', 'vacuum bag' and 'reject'..i need to hear it some more, but those are the standouts so far

Sometime ago, I bought the Young Dubliners' Red. And I'm seeing them tomorrow, and don't know the words to their songs, and can't find that CD.

But the good news is, I got a new discman and now Clumsy isn't staticky anymore ;)

Not that anyone cares, but I found Red. So I can listen to it twice before seeing the band...

I always try to know the words to most of the songs before I see a band, even though I was front row for a concert in June and knew one of the band's songs, and my friend dragged me to BNL when I hadn't even heard of them. I attended two more BNL shows (five years later) before knowing all the words and now I've seen them nine times. I probably shouldn't see OLP next week because I don't think I'm ready.

I got 2 cds today.

"Another Year on the Streets 2001" by the Vagrant label. It has "Hell Yes" and "Metro" by Alkaline Trio on there, along with stuff by The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, and other good Vagrant bands.

I also got the Atticus cd, which has an unreleased Alkaline Trio song on there, "Jaked On Green Beers." It also has various songs from other punk bands like The Movielife and Finch. Good cd.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
