...half this redneck population thinks the war is right, legal and just.

Guilty*

*I don't really know or care if it's legal. I agree that it's right so its legality is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

"Hang Bush" what a foolish thing to say. Sounds like some of Raine's rhetorical ...

I'll say what I said on the other board when I flipped out the other day:

I apologise for losing my cool. I'm embarassed now, but I take back nothing I said.

"Lord, I apologise..."

...the fact that us being there is ten times worse then Saddams rule.

What!? Are you serious man? Do you think the Iraqis are really worse off than when they were under the dictatorship (a minority dictatorship, I should mention) of Saddam than they are now? Saddam may have supressed the ...

Redneck Bill, if you're new to learning about politics...

Sounds like good advice. I try to stay away from the nightly news. I suspect they're more interested in ratings than journalism.

What kind of arms were they?

I'm new to this whole current events thing, trying to catch up on the last 30 years. Used to not care.

I don't believe that it's the only reason, no. It's true that the US was largely opposed to entering what was seen as Europe's war until Pearl Harbor happened.

I don't think it's fair to say the US only fought WWII in self defense. Was it really necessary for the US to help liberate France even ...

I don't know enough about international law to get into that but there are a few things in this article that I take exception to.

We are penned in by the arrogant idea that this country is the center of the universe, exceptionally virtuous, admirable, superior.
I don't think I or most ...

Gotta say One Man Army is my all time enduring fav. Dunno why peoplre get down on it. I think the video hurt it but the song is quintessential OLP is you ask me.

In Repair is a good choice.

I think If You believe is mad under-rated. AWSOME awsome song.

The only songs I ...

Re: Raine's Solo Album

Just coming out and saying what you mean lyrically isn't poetic, nor does it make for very interesting story-telling.

You took the words right out of my mouth. The music on the new album is good, really good at times. I just can't find anything too compelling in the lyrics. Everything sounds so ...

I think that once they start recording, they'll end up breezing through this CD quickly.

I'd be inclined to agree. They've had Steve long enough to find their stride and get to know one another and the same may apply to Bob if they use him again...which I'm sure most of us would prefer they don ...

Ok, I know nothing about music (the technical stuff) but I always wondered if you could play the guitar part from the bridge in Third Eye Blind's "Jumper" under the second verse of "Clumsy" and if anyone would notice. I like the little track Turner plays under it but I always think of "Jumper" when ...
