As a general comment, it's fairly obvious that the shadowy man is going to be his brother. I dunno how obvious you were intending it to be. Those three last paragraphs seem slightly awkward somehow ... Don't get me wrong, it's very good, but I think you can do better. ;)

I'm one of those Canadians that doesn't get horribly cold weather. I get the ocean to moderate temperature. It might get to -20 or -25 C on a really cold day on a nearby skihill (ie on top of a mountain hehe), but never anything worse than that. I just get rained on all winter (and fall and spring ...

My current plan is to get a PhD and become a prof/researcher. If that fails I'll probably end up teaching highschool physics and math. If I wanted to I could get hired by an engineering firm and work in industry but that doesn't really appeal to me. Also, you could do something llike a telescope ...

Ok, so this is my week:

last Monday: 4 page Philosophy 230 (introduction to moral theory) paper
Wednesday: Phys 410 (computational physics) final
Thursday: Phil 230 final
Friday: Astr 404 final (astrophysical measurements, there are 8 people in the class and we're all super astronomy keeners)

So there's this Stabilo song which has the line "no rain, rain for a while". My brain caught the intended meaning then additionally went "no Raine, Raine for a while!". I think I've been listening to too much OLP lately ....
