I wish Raine would be a little more metaphorical with his lyrics, especially if he's going to get political; look at radiohead - aside from the title, most of hail to the thief is much more subtly anti-bush than "wipe that smile off your face" (and hail to the thief is at least cleverer)

dude, not afraid kicks ass...i really like the new guitar stuff with steve, and there was some falsetto in there...i liked those lyrics a lot better than any of gravity too...really edgy, that was badass

I wish they'd done a little more with this, I mean, I like the extra guitars in the background, but the damn kids singing at the end of this version are a lot more noticeable...and if anything says rock, its definitely not a bunch of fucking 8 year olds singing

there's definitely been negative reviews of OLP CDs other than Gravity...in fact I rarely read good reviews, most just seem to call them Pumpkins or Pearl Jam wannabees or bitch about Raine's falsetto

yea, i thought he sounded pretty bad in the chorus too...the verses sounded good though...could be a problem with the monitors, he was defintiely not in the right key for the chorus, but when i heard them in concert he nailed it...or maybe they just dont give a shit about tv performances
