OLP were done somewhere between Happiness and SM. OLP's commercial success seems to be on the decline as well now.

This isn't to say that the band member's are done, all are too talented to be done for good. Unfortunately OLP is something that should have ended years ago.

Good work,

the original Canadian version is better though and has a better flow.

Not to mention you miss "I Miss New Wave" which is one of the best tracks on the CD.

I saw him play with The Waking Eyes in Winnipeg last month, I really enjoyed it, but I've only seen him once.

The Waking Eyes I've seen many times though, and they're ALWAYS great.

great great record. One of the best I've heard this year.

I love how he has all the clever allusions to the Canadian indie scene too, Emily ...

I'm listening to the new K-OS album.

Wow. If you guys don't listen to it because you're to snobby to try something that isn't rock you're missing out. It's great.

Feist is amazing. A bit overrated though.

Emily Haines' Solo disc is pretty good, it grows on you a lot. If you're looking for Metric though look elsewhere. It's really really slow paced and mostly piano driven. You won't find a fast song on it. My only complaint is it all blends together to ...

I'm actually mildly excited about this. There's a good chance for this to be decent.

If it's not though I think that's gonna be the final nail in the coffin for me. I hope not though Raine is too talented to be wasting away with stuff like he does. Hell if it means going back to Arnold and ...

What do I need to see before I die?

I've been renting a lot of movies lately. I'm starting to run out of ideas though.

I know there's some film buffs on here (Lando), suggest some stuff for me:).

Oh I don't really care what type of movies they are, just not childrens movies, or comedy....well you know most comedy......not that ...

Yeah I've owned the album for awhile now too, but seeing them live is way diffrent. I don't think they transfer onto a cd as well.

Are you sure they didn't open for Theory of a Deadman? They had some intresting banter midshow about how shitty the band was (egged on by a fan) and made a remark ...

Cool. Yeah I saw them on Friday for the first time, kinda weird considering they're from Winnipeg. I was really impressed though. They put on a great show, and played 3 great covers aswell. A big jam session with Novillero aswell.

Joey the bass player was from BU's music program so he had a huge ...

The Waking Eyes

Remember them? Arnold Lanni has been producing them. I recently saw them at BU's street party. They ruled.

Anyone seen them live?
