Then they're going to begin work on a brand new album. It better live up old Everclear (Sparkle & Fade) era

So basically Everclear is an Everclear cover band? They could have come up with a more creative name

yeah the lead vocalists always seem to think that they own the band and can keep on going with whomever as members, just as long as the lead singer stays!

If you're that mad, close your eyes. If they have the same singer you'll never know the difference.

As long as the new members are talented it should still be good.

Yes, I'm sure it'll be good. I just would've liked to see the whole band together. The point of a concert is not to have to close my eyes to enjoy it haha. I like seeing the band, and this band is not EVERCLEAR, its Art Alexakis and 2 guys I don't know.

Hmm actually, there's now 5 members. That should make things pretty interesting as I'm sure most songs will sound very different. There should also be more depth and variety, something EC was criticized probably most about during their career.

It was awesome... they sounded even better (not a surprise... so much more depth). Art sounded excellent (tho he looks like he's dying) and the other guys were really good. The songs naturally sounded a bit different, so it was very exciting.

He's always looked like he's dying, though.

But moreso than I expected... I never met him before, so when I saw him up close, he looks very old and very skinny, not what I expected. Still an extremelyyyyy nice guy tho.

Oh, you met him? Coolio! You get pics?

Nope, no pics... got all my CDs signed tho. Like 7 of 'em. I would have liked to talked to him more if stupid girls weren't talking about nonsense for 20 minutes straight. You could even tell he'd had enough of them.
