ok. so. there was a thread exactly like this one a little while ago and i loved it, so i decided to start it again in the modern day CM. anyway, you list your first concert, last concert you went to, and your favorite concert. ok go. oh yeah! list the date if you can.

first: 96.3 holiday hootenany (w/ goo goo dolls, better than ezra, semisonic) december 1999.

last: afi in chicago. (w/ bleeding through and hot water music) october 2003.

favorite: 3-way tie. ours in may 2003. afi in new york (with static age and explosion) july 2003. or the faint in may/june 2003.

favorite: my first OLP and my last OLP one cuz i met jeremy and duncan
and i'm supposed to be strong & have all the answers ... a cannibal in the new church of cancer ... but i'm nothing special i'm not unique ... i have many secrets & i eat the weak... and i'm at an end ... i'm at an end... and there's ... NO WAY OUT!!

i need to find my sanctuary ..... someplace safe ... gotta get this outta me ..... this is my escape

First: Family Values Tour 2000: Limp Bizkit, Crystal Method, Filter, Run DMC, Mobb Deep, Staind at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY

Last: Dashboard Confessional in October w/ Brandnew, MXPSHIT, Piebald at State Theater in Detroit. Good times, bad crowd.

Favorite: 3 Way Tie...
1) OLP in Villanova in November of 2002 with Greenwheel (Free tickets, talking to Jer for an hour and good times for all),

2)OLP in Rochy at RIT in February 2003 with Greenwheel (Crappy show on OLP's part but met Bethany and Sarah, hung out with other CM people, and had an awesome time on the whole trip, the infamous Mock OLP videos that no one shall ever see  )

3) Bright Eyes w/ Beth Orton at Bowery Ballroom, NYC in June 2003.. which was a last minute show after Field Day was screwed up. Conor played an amazing set and had a lot more energy then the last two times I saw him. He played "I wont ever be happy again" and "soon you will be leaving your man"

Honorable Mention:
1) Bright Eyes at Irving Plaza, NYC in April 2003 w/ Jesse Harris and Arab Strap. Went with Bethany and was in the first row..good set but kind of short

2) Glassjaw at the World sometime last summer I think...amazing show.

I <3 Concerts...everyone add your next show

Next Show: Brandnew, Hot Rod Circuit, Straylight Run at Roseland in NYC...homecoming show for BN should be good.

BEST: OLP; December 2, 2000; My first olp show, awsome set, met everyone, including Mike after the show and talked to them for a while.

First: New Kids On The Block back in like 1990

Last: Mustard Plug and King Mob on 11-14-03
Best: Three-way tie

1) 4-12-03 - Koufax at the Magic Stick. Played all but three of their songs.
2) 11-1-03 - Belle and Sebastian at the State Theater. Do I need to explain?
3) 3-13-02 - OLP at St. Andrew's Hall. First OLP concert, and the best one yet.

Next: 11-20-03 - The New Amsterdams at the Blind Pig
11-22-03 - King Mob (because of Isabelle) at the Joint House
11-30-03 - Vendetta Red (because of Leslie) at St. Andrew's Hall
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

First:
01.08.98 - Oasis - Camden, NJ
 Seeing a band that you're obsessed with, and it being your first concert ever rules.

Last:
10.31.03 - Maroon 5 - Philadelphia, PA
Halloween shows are the freaking best. Nothing like seeing a guy in drag singing, a doctor on guitar, Peter Pan on bass, Teen Wolf on keys, and a ghost on drums.

Best:
11.23.02 - Our Lady Peace (and Greenwheel) - Villanova, PA
    There's a reason why we never shut up about this show. My god.

Next:
I don't know. :crying:

*ben kweller in aug of 02. it was at a really small venue and was just terribly fun.
*bright eyes apr 03. just amazing and beautiful.
*the aquabats i think apr 03. probably the most fun i've ever had at a show. anyone who's seen the aquabats live knows what i'm talking about.

first: olp at SS 98

last: f11 w/ closure, idle sons and some dude who made everyone laugh and stuff  here in saskatoon and billy talent the night before w/ death from above, some other band and alexisonfire

best: theres no way in hell i can choose one.. too many bands have blown me away but definately by far villanova and f11 (both times i saw them) come to mind.. as well as mgb, ttp, creed and filter at edgefest 2000 in barrie, IME/30stm and billy talent at the palais royale, slooooooooooooooooooan, great big sea both times, AC/DC, filter the 2nd time i saw em was an awesome show, fuel was really good when i saw them and nickelback (before silver side up came out) were awesome at that show as well (planetfest in jacksonville, florida, fuel, lifehouse (before the 1st cd came out), nickelback, dexter freebish, union underground and others.. first show i took my lil bro to lol), incubus was amazing.. especially after my friends and i managed to scare some teenies away by yelling things like "take off your shoes" and "i'll have a sex change for your babies" etc etc.. good charlotte was cool both times i saw them too, sarah slean and chantal kreviazuk were both amazing, rush was awesome at SARSfest (same show as AC/DC, the stones, sam roberts (btw he rocked both times i saw him), the guess who, flaming lips, justin timberlake, the tea party and others) .. umm david usher is great live, OLP @ selinsgrove, pennsylvania (the night before villanova where they opened with "the wonderful future" and finally OLP at the state theatre.. mainly due to the "blow at high dough" during starseed thing  and the lack of sleep and the adventure my friends and i had going home that night

although no one will understand this (cept for maybe bethany since i think i told her the story) .. im closing this with a quote.. "you cant fucking walk across the fucking bridge" .. "i see.. are there any other bridges you can walk across?" ... "are you fucking deaf? you cant fucking walk across the fucking bridge for fucks sake"
go fuck yourself.

Best: Our Lady Peace, Hamburg, september 2002, awesome show, really intense, I was literally centimeters away from Steve, unique experience.
