Law & Order: SVU

So am I the only SVU freak on the board?

I watched tonight's episode and needed people to flail with over it. Brian just makes fun of my sad obsessions with SVU (and 24 and all the other shows I watch).

Anyway, did anyone watch tonight's episode??

You should channel your obsession into something more creative.

Write your own episode of LO SVU CI

I don't really like CI. I like SVU because it's more personal and emotional (I'm a girl, what can I say), whereas CI is just "let's go find the bad guys and outsmart them into a confession with my superior intellect rawr!"

I just find it all to be way less interesting than SVU. And that new plot line with the red-head girl? She's so monotone, except when she's shouting at the captain, and she acts just like the smarty-pants detective, and she really gets under my skin.

SVU is by far my favorite cop/crime show. Law and Order in general is incredibly well put together and believable. Part of the reason SVU is so good is because Benson is the only female cop character that's not 22 and/or way too good looking. She's multi-demensional and compelling.

Did I miss something. I've seen these shows, but don't watch them regularly, but what was so special about "tonight's" episode... although i put tonight in quotes because it was technically yesterday.

Well first off, there was the whole car wreck. Secondly, Elliott and Olivia have had a really complicated relationship over the course of the show, and tonight it was on a completely different level. All the El/Liv fans basically let out a collective *squee* when they hugged in the hospital.

I think you would think it was more of a bombshell episode if you were a fan/regular watcher, plus this season is so much more over-the-top than the previous seasons so every episode is like a *holding my breath* episode lately.

I know, I love it when she makes her "ugly horrified" faces, because she's more like a human being. Plus, when she mis-pronounces words and city names it makes me laugh. And she's a really great actress who makes you really believe the story. I  Liv :D

I haven't really been following the show for a couple seasons now, so I have no idea what's going on with those two. However, Adam Beach being on the show is awesome!

Angie Harmon was never on SVU, she left the original Law & Order before SVU came out if I remember right. She's not even on the original Law & Order anymore, at all, EVAR :(

If 3 english blokes and some talented mechanics can drive 1000 miles across Africa in a mid '80's Mecedes E class, a '81 Lancia Delta, and a '63 Opel Cadet then you can do without an SUV whereever it is you live.

However if your thinking about traveling to the North Pole you'll need a HiLux for that.
