I kinda wanted to go to that, cause embarassingly, I actually like Copeland. But it was just too far away.
If you end up going to the get up kids, say hi if you see me

Why is it embarassing to like Copeland??

I dunno, I guess they're just kinda a dorky band. Or so I'm told.
You are lucky you got to see death cab with ben kweller. dcfc came here, 3 days before they started the tour with bk. *tear* I was really upset about it, because they are two of my very very favorites. However, Ben Gibbard said that Ben Kweller plans on coming here again soon. He better!

I've been going to see a low of shows lately. For some reason I don't consider them to be concerts, but hey, seeing bands live is seeing bands live. My new thing is to go see hxc shows...even though I'm not into the scene at all. I'm not a big hxc fan, but the more shows I go to the more I warm up to it. I could never ONLY listen to hardcore music though.
I used to HATE when people would go to shows just for the sake of going to shows (a friend of mine went to see BNL recently when she doesn't even really like them), but now... I guess it's not so bad when you're not spending $10+ to see a band. Or band
s. Especially underground hardcore bands.
Last night I went into Boston to see some bands play @ Emerson College, who were NOT hardcore bands, hahaha. The first band,
These Green Eyes, was pretty chill; the lead singer had a fuckload of energy and he had a good voice. Second was Haven't Talked Since; they were OKAY but they had the pop punk/mall punk sound going on and they didn't really appeal to me.
The last band that played,
the Lido Venice, the reason why I even went to the show, was simply amazing. I've seen them twice now and they don't STOP being amazing. They have a stand-up bass <3.
Make sure to click those links and check out some MP3s, especially ones @ the Lido Venice site. Just keep clicking the picture in the middle until you come to a set of lyrics that has a seperate "DOWNLOAD" link at the bottom. They only have 3 mp3s up so far; Dancing Our Duress, Malpractice Makes Perfect, and Ricepaper Wings.[/b]

If they've got the money to burn, let them support the economy.

I've always wanted to see them, but that price would mean my car doesn't get gas for a couple of weeks.

fuckin' hell .. i was screwed out of both the may 28th show and the may 29th show for blink .. i would do anything to see the used .. i couldn't get tickets to this show since i was at work when they went on sale and when i got home they were already on level 300 seats .. FUCK .. i'm thinking of heading to these shows on my own and trying to buy tickets off a scalper .. i think it would be worth it, even if i have to go by myself

Going to see Finger Eleven on the Sno Core tour in May.
Hopefully going to see Incubus this July, as well as Warped.
I wish I wasn't a poor college student with no car and who needs to work all summer.
*sigh*
LA has all the concerts you can dream of, and I can go to a precious few

Anna,
are you coming back East for summer.?
Let me warn you F11 only play about 5 songs at SnoCore. They were the 2nd act here after Starta.
I got seats for Incubus at MSG in June. They are on side of stage. Cost only about $55.00(yeah)
anyway good luck with the finals.
