probably the "correct" way of saying adult student...

or older than your average college student student

A "mature student" is someone who is attending (or starting, I guess) school (usually university), but is older than the usual students. I'm not sure what the age is that one becomes a "mature student".

the butterfly effect was an AMAZING movie .. i don't think my eyes left the screen the entire time when i saw that in the theatres ..
