i just read a review of their toronto concert in my school paper.

basically she was just saying how good the band was, for being relitavely new.

she mentioned their use of props, dancers, and theatrics, when shouldn't it be their musical talent they're relying on? especially since they're so new they should be able to show that they can put on a decent show without help from a million distractions.
i want to write a letter in response. but i'm lazy.

oh and iw as at the show, because i work at the venue. i have a feeling this girl doesn't go to a lot of concerts. because they paled in comparison to a lot of other acts, and not just because i don't like them. a group of bands that i don't like have played there, and i have to respect them just because they did such a good job. but no...

To me, it just seems like they are trying too hard.

Yet, I can't really put down a band who has become so successful and yet, barely out of highschool. Sure they may have had a lot of it handed to them but its not like their Daddys slapped down a couple million so they could record an album.

I've sort of followed what they've done since before the album was released, and from what I've seen they have gone from kids who just wanted to put out an album and do something different to really egotistical guys who kicked out one of their own band members and are trying to impress people with theatrics.
...They remind me a little of the Killers, actually. haha.

Yeah, there really is no denying that fame has gotten to their heads but really, they are quite a success story.

Note: I'm not really a fan of Panic! at all.

I'd like to publicly declare that I've never heard a Panic! At the Disco song in full yet, and never intend to. How's that for general news?

Hannah Sung, the current host of the NewMusic and MuchNews, is leaving MuchMusic after 4.5 years.

this makes me sad. there's not one intelligent person left on that channel.
