I love listening to old BST CDs. It's a blast from the past. Bring on the nostalgia!

I understand there is a producer wrapping up the segment and trying to stick to time, but the anchor completely stepped on the end of The End. Would it have been so hard for her to keep her yap shut for another ten seconds? Television people stink!

Sooo at one in the morning I was watching Video Flow on some random channel (that also likes to play Spanish music videos and have hour long programs of just French infomercials), and there was a Simple Plan video on.

I was thinking, alright, this isn't too bad, it's doing better than what MuchMusic would be showing. And I said, "The next video is gonna be something awesome!"

I heard screaming and figured it was a concert video. I was about to switch it WHEN... the guitar started.

"What the hell!? They're playing the live version of Not Enough?" To which I blasted the music and watched the live video.

The end of my dramatic story.

I thought it was pretty sweet... I didn't even know that song had a video.

Well, OLP did get mentioned the other day on Fuse. I was flipping through the channels and Video Yearbook 2002 was on, and Chad Kroeger/Josey Scott's Hero had just finished up. The host then said (slightly paraphrased) "Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam recorded the drums for the track but couldn't make the video, so friend Jeremy Taggart of OLP filled in for him."

I noticed that too and I responded to him. I think it's an interesting idea.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Devo is doing that in NY also> Leanign toward Freedom Of Choice night.

I am lucky though. I have seen OLP pretty much all cd's toured. There are songs they have not done so that would be weird to see..

I def go Naveed, Spirtual Machines and Clumsy Night..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

This is kind of news, about Raine...

From http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/archive/November2009/04/c5598.html:

And finally, ET Canada is celebrating a milestone with Canadian music's super couple, Chantal Kreviazuk and Our Lady Peace front man Raine Maida, as they renew their marriage vows on the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. Commemorating their 10-year anniversary, active humanitarians and recipients of the 2009 Tiffany Mark Award, Chantal and Raine invite their friends and family to the 'Happiest Country on Earth' to help them honour this joyous occasion. Rick Campanelli is on the guest list and captures all the emotion from the big day, plus a little fun in the sun too. From the dress to the vows, ET Canada has the scoop starting Monday, December 7.

I'm surprised that Raine is allowing cameras to be involved in it.
She's looking for some courage
She feels faithless, she feels earthless
She wants to run
She's strugglin' for purpose
I tell her hang in you know it's worth it
You've just begun
You've just begun

I'm surprised they're allowing cameras to be at the ceremony too. That would be more Chantal's doing than Raine's, wouldn't it?

I was thinking that but hesitated to say it.
