well i know im a bit late on this but i just heard the new stuff today... i think they're both really lame- "not afraid" the earlier version from the junos i think was one of my favorite songs by them- with that bridge that actually rocked again like something off of naveed and raine's voice sounded like raine again- but the new one is corny and lame and without the good bridge part- and there's like 80's style keyboard stuff it just sucks- and vampires....wow.....i can't even believe my ears- last time i checked OLP was not a punk band- terrible- if they change our time is fading too, i might kill myself-

Wow.

Usually someone's first post on an OLP message board praises the band, but wazon broke the trend, joined an OLP message board, and ripped into the new songs.

I like him.

I go on vacation for ten days and when I get back we have both a new release time and a new song clip. Anyway, after listening to the clip twice, I like the intro and the tune of the versus. I know this is just a demo but to me it sounds to raw, I think raine's voice could be better. The lyrics are definately different than usual olp, actually the first line reminds me of Marilyn Manson, but that could just be me being crazy. I prefer Not Afraid to the demo clip of Vampires.

And Random Name, this has nothing whatsoever to do with the topic, but I found your avatar on BlueKaffee again (even though last time it was your sig) except the monkey doesn't change colour in that person's avatar.

haha what can i say guys im an asshole- i love OLP, but i just hope sometime we hear a preview of a new song that doesn't suck- it's a shame OTIF won't make the album if that's true, i was interested in hearing a studio version- i'm a big fan of that one- also i heard walkin in circles and wipe that smile live, and i wasn't really big on them either- where is the good stuff?? that monkey is pretty sweet. . . and i dunno about you guys but im all for stealing things 8-)

Give the new guy credit. He presented reasons why he didn't like the songs, instead of saying they suck and leaving. OTIF probably won't be on a studio release until they let loose of songs that were cut from albums. Welcome to our world.

Yeah, I actually like the new guy, which is rare. He seems like he could actually be one of us, not to mention he hasn't made a stupid thread yet, which is more than I can say for about any of the people here with under 100 posts. :lol:
