Honestly i'm not gonna make any negitive assumptions about their next album just because Gravity wasnt their best album. No Mike's not in the band, but as bad as that is, its not like the rest of them are talentless. Give them a chance. This album is the first time Mr. Mazur will actually be able to actively participate in the writing. Who knows mabye something really amazing will come out of it.

Or Raine will tell him what riffs to play.... I mean either or could happen... you really never know nowadays.

If he does that, he's not going to be a good guitarist.

Really, I cannot say how much i am looking forward to this cd. I still have some amount of hope that they can make a rebound off of gravity, but i truly cannot see anything good coming out of that cd. I would be repulsed by anyone who says gravity is even close to the other four albums. That is why i am not feeling good about the next one. There is so much improvement they need to add to the gravity sound to make album6 as good as i'd like it. I still have some hope, but it seems like the more and more i think about their position, the more and more i think about Bob Rock, the more and more i hear stuff from gravity, that hope inside goes down a notch or two. I am coming to the point where i am already predicting the bad things i am going to say on the first "So What Do You Think Of Album6!!!!!!?" thread. I don't know, i guess only time will tell

I'm very much looking forward to album six and staying optimistic. I don't think it'll be that comparable to the first four, Gravity was just so different and kind of disrupted that flow. But as I said I'm looking forward to it and I think it will probably be different and better than Gravity.

When #6 comes out, I will be at the store at midnight. It's a bad habit.

what's really going to happen is that the next album will blow us all away with it's amazing complex intruments and deep lyrics caused by Bob Rock's sudden refusal to continue taking part in the production of anything Our Lady Peace

oh, and Raine was terribly misquoted about that Teenage Punching Bag thing, what he actually said was Stealing Babies part 2.

That's definately what will happen  :P

Whatever happens, I'm sure some good will come out of it. The band isn't ignorant of the fans opinion. I'm sure they know "gravity" didn't fare well with the older fans, and that they know to avoid that direction.

Kinda disagree, I've always thought OLP did the album they wanted to do. rather than what the "older" fans or "newer" fans wants.

Be repulsed. I prefer Gravity to Clumsy, maybe not the other 3 but all are almost as good as each other(imo). didnt really appreciate that comment personally since everyone has there own individual opinon.

true. But I'm sure they're not going to go in a direction if a lot of their fans disapprove.

Well you'll be waiting, alone, for probably 10 hours until the store actually opens...

Nah, a lot of stores stay open til past midnight on Monday (well... here, album releases are on Tuesday... is it the same day in Canada?) so people can get albums right when they come out. Our Tower Records used to, but for some reason stopped about a year ago.

Well you can have your opinion and I can have mine. And yes, I am kind of disgusted that you find gravity to be better than Clumsy. But that's your opinion. I don't find you to be stupid, dumb, or anything of the sort. I just can't imagine anyone liking gravity more than the other four cds.
