I love this thread!
I feel kind of weird about my birthday this year. I've been kind of down and out all day. Not
because of my birthday, though. What's weird is that I'm feeling this way
in spite of the fact that it's my birthday.

Why are you sad? And my last few birthdays haven't been great either. I don't even look forward to it anymore.

But you're a great pilot! You'll do great!
That reminds me of this poster I saw in our HIGHSCHOOL business area. It was a grade nine poster on different careers. One of them was, and I quote "PIOLET".

LMAO, that is how I am. I wish to get out of the house, and as soon as I get out I wish I was back home.
Rob...birthdays just get suckier as you get older. Less exciting.

Plus, Bethany, you're a psych student. You just need to start looking at yourself objectively before you can figure out on your own what's going on in that head of yours.
Or, you could always find someone else who knows what they're doing to help you.

I'm sick of spending every night alone. This whole summer, not a single friend has called me. I always call them and bug them to do stuff with me, but they're always too busy. I'm sick of spending every night home alone crying.
