the oil just need to work on their pp a bit more.. i wouldnt be surprised if mact gets the pink slip if they dont get better soon tho
as for the sens.. thats gonna be one tough to beat team this year.. i mean.. the ducks may or may not have lost a lot and although the av's improved, their goaltending situation is iffy (budaj is young and theo is a fucktard :D) and the sharks have quite possibly the best 1-2 center punch in the league bar none but they didnt address their biggest need in a puck moving d-man to quaterback their pp.. of course matt carle could develop in a hurry into one but its kinda asking a lot for a second year player heh.. the only team to not make major changes on the ice from last year is ottawa, they have the same team back except for a few guys on d (they could afford to lose) and a few forwards but added more grit and size to the lineup in addition to having the core of the team back... and frankly gerber's playing quite well and they still have emery who lead em to the cup finals last year.. and they have brian elliott in the minors who played one game while emery was out and even HE won in his nhl debut.. and finally theres the slight chance (very slight mind you) that peter forsberg will sign there (danny alfredsson IS a swede and if he, (foppa), signs with the sens that would give the team the chance to have the first european captain win the cup and it'd be a fellow swede which would be cool for foppa)
another possibility is of course his best friend in markus naslund and the canucks.. its hard to say where he'll end up tho... hell i'd love to see him on the habs myself :D
go fuck yourself.

He was definitely on the verge of tears and Stacy was obviously crying!

I would have paid anything to have been able see his homecoming in person.

So I watch the Jackets / Blues game on tv and wasn't impressed.

Their calling on the Blues to have a much better season this year and with Paul Kariya, Keith Tkachuk, Doug Weight and Manny Legace I wouldn't doubt a better season.

But play was just sloppy.

Blue Jackets were just as sloppy but got the boucnes aparantly.

I guess LeClaire is doing well which will help them out. He's a good guy, I parked his Land Rover once valeting. Nice clean good looking SUV.

But Sergi's Bentley is much nicer.

pascal leclaire's a former halifax moosehead
go moose!

anyways
doc.. the only reason smitty left oil town is because of money... he wanted more than the oilers were willing to spend against the cap but that was before they knew the cap would go up by nearly 8 million.. k-lowe came out and even stated if he knew the cap would go up to 52 mil from 44 he wouldve given smitty the contract he wanted without thinking twice and he would never have left.. the difference in salary was 500,000 which doesnt seem like "much" when talking millions but that amount is actually the minimum salary a player can make so thats one cheap player on a roster which every team also needs

k-lowe did what he thought he needed to do for the team overall
im not entirely sure if he did the right thing or the wrong one still but he did get a lot back in return for smitty instead of nothing and he did manage to sign penner who's younger and bigger than smitty and making less money in the long run
