i wish i lived in a small town.

Don't let them dishearten you, I love my small town. It has a population of about 7000 in the county and half that's in the city and my Grandma's town is 2000 for the whole county, where our ranch is, that's where I want to grow old. It's all about location, if you are near enough to the city so you can get what you need, it's good. If your'e so isolated it takes days to get there, then I can see how that would be a big pain in the ass. But honestly, how many places are there like that anymore? I love how everyone here knows who I am and if not me, then my parents or grandparents. I was so suprised the other day, this guy I had never talked to but vaguely remember from high school was like oh yeah you cheered and danced and did basketball right? I was so amazed.

Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

my advice to getting over that is as follows:

1. have someone trash your heart
2. cry for a month
3. forget about it for another 2 months
4. wake up in the middle of the night and scribble like mad (here I redirect you to the song in UYS)

it works! guaranteed or your money back

been in that situation. i lived in a town that had a high school, but then i left and came back. by the time i came back, the high school was gone and we had to go 11 miles on a bus to go to school with our rivals back when we had a high school. that was nuts. :freak:
