First they stop doing Creep now Karma Police. That is one of my favorite Radiohead songs. Wait just read your post again. You got to see Creep. I haven't seen that song in years. Not since the Bends tour. I haven't seen Radiohead in while either.

Hey, I am extremely dissapointed, they didn't play either of those songs here.

that was such a great concert, and i don't even like brand new a ton! (well i like them, but i'm not obsessed with them)

now straylight run on the other hand...they are the bestest best best

yeah i might not even go in the pit. The opera house is set up so you can stand on the different levels and see everything and still not be far from the stage.

yea its not worth it anymore its not even moshing just pushing..moshing i can deal with but this pushing shit is dumb

Well, at least Utah gets a show. Michigan doesn't even get as much as that. Bah.

yeah at deftones last week it was the worse pit i've ever been in. After one song from thrice i had to get out. i almost feel to the ground about 54 times. People started crowd surfing before any bands even come out. It was crazy.

yea the pushing between HRC and BN was enough for us especially since i had 3 kids who were 400 pounds each behind me and i had a kid that size land on me at Norma Jean and it sucked. From now I will find a nice safe spot to enjoy the music from. Being in front is awesome but before you know it you spent all concert trying to stand up.

i added you to my LJ friends by the way :)

i know, it sucks when you have to spend the whole concert trying not to die when you could be watching the concert. There were about 4000 people at the BN concert you went to? that's probably why the crowd was so bad. the venue BN will be playing here is about 500-600 people i think, so i'm sure it won't be that bad.

I saw them the Saturday before last supporting AAR. They were pretty cool - all the little kids seemed to like them too - there was much jumping around!

And the keyboard guy is so fun to watch :D

Thanks Rob :) he was right over other side of the stage so I couldn't see so well other than the leaping about.

This week I saw 3 shows:

Tuesday - Blur. They were loads of fun. As soon as they played Girls and Boys (about 3 songs in) the whole place went crazy. Damon had this big smile on his face almost the whole time. I didn't really like Think Tank, but the songs sounded better live and they played so much great old stuff too (though they didn't play Parklife :( )

Wednesday - Belle & Sebastian. Again, lots of fun. They started with Expectations and if I'd had to leave right after that I'd still have got my money's worth it was so great. They played for 2 hours with lots of old stuff and lots of new stuff. And Stuart and Stevie were so funny chatting away between the songs. They even played a tv theme tune (from Minder) and they got a girl from the audience to sing Lazy Line Painter Jane with them in the encore.

Friday - The Darkness. Hilarious. Somehow they managed to make a 40 minute album last an hour and a half (with a few other songs added in) - Justin was jumping around like crazy and making us sing and shout and clap along. They got a children's choir out to sing their Christmas song with them, and there were fireworks and fake snow and they threw loads of crackers into the crowd. And at one point Justin got onto the shoulders of a couple of security guards and they carried him all through the crowd while he was still playing guitar.
