When Raine busked in Toronto two years ago, I remember that Perez Hilton had a post praising him about it. I also know that Perez did an interview with Chantal where they kept talking about what big fans they were of each other, and they kind of seemed like they might be friends.

I personally can't stand the dude, and he seems like the most un-Raine type of person ever, but there seems to be some sort of connection there, for whatever reason.

perez always makes me think "oh, shock me, shock me, shock me with that deviant behaviour."

he says a lot of really misogynistic and otherwise offensive things because it's the reason people pay him attention. so they can discuss how terrible he is, or how he's "saying what everyone is scared to say"

I remember looking through the comments on those articles on Perez's site. I had randomly found a link. Basically, the comments beaked Chantal ("Attention whore, total wench, my friend met her and said she was such a fake little bitch and a total snob"), usually praised Raine ("She's a bitch, he's nice though"), and so on and so forth. People were talking about how apparently Raine and Chantal are swingers.

Maybe Chantal likes Perez or something...?

Perez report on celebrities being idiots, or getting out of their cars showing that they are without underwear. I don't see Maida and Chantal doing that to embaress themselves. Unless you take in to account the last couple releases.

The fact that the crowd was going that insane at the end of Bring Back the Sun (along with how Jer referred to the crowd going "apeshit" when they brought back Denied) should be a bit of a hint that they need to bring back some non-singles...

This is not really news at all, but I found it pretty cool that former touring musician (from the Gravity era, I believe) Mike Eisenstein left a comment on Jer's FaceBook status. They're still in contact I assume?
