nikki4982 wrote:Those socks are SO cute!!!! You've got the best socks ever, Jacqui. First those cute... erm, I mean fierce ()... tiger socks, and now these!

And, Chucks rock. I've got thre... MAIL! *gets it* Yay! My newsletter's here! OK, anyway... I've got three pairs of Chucks. Black hightops, navy hightops, and navy lowtops. They're uncomfortable, and really cold in the winter but I  them.

First of all, I can't believe you remember my "fierce" tiger socks. Someone made fun of them last week, said they didn't look tough enough...grrrrrrr...THEY'RE FIERCE!

Second, I love my chucks, all of them. And, yeah, they do get REALLY cold in the winter, but I don't find mine too uncomfortable cause they're like, second skin to my foot. I just found out that I have a brand new pair of white ones and black ones still in their boxes in my closet, that I didn't even knew I had, so I'm way psyched!

And oh yeah, ANTI, my lava lamp takes at least an hour to bubble. It always just sits there and looks like that, so don't worry. It's not just you

I never use my lava lamp. I think it's black metal with purple water and pink bubbles, but I haven't used it in so long I couldn't be sure. That's my goal for tonight. Turn my lava lamp on!

Yeah I never use mine because it takes so long to heat up. Maybe I will start to use it again though now that I think about it..

I can't see the picture!!!!

I want to see Jacqui's chucks! *whines* pleeeeeease???

oh, and since Ann Arbor is the freak capital of Michigan, they sell chucks EVERYWHERE. You can get a pair for like 20 or cheaper, if you find them on sale. Actually, I think they are about 25 regular price.

I think I may use my extra christmas money and buy myself a pair of black chucks. The pink ones really don't look good with nice clothes

oh, and Deitrich is my bird. She's in the parakeet family, but she's really a parrot. She's not a little budgie or anything.

ik... it was so tempting. but then i saw how unintelligable they all looked and pity stopped my hand. those pathetic drones didn't know what they were talking about...

Hahah, poor idiots. Didn't even realize how amazing the band they just saw was. I'd still have killed them all, though.

Shorteegrrl588 wrote:wow, nikki. thanks for the tip. we got rid of the mirror and the dresser a long time ago, though.

Too bad, lighter fluid would've fixed it right up! But, yeah, hope you (or anyone else) can use that tip at some point in the future. It's amazing how well it works. You have to clean the residue off afterwards, though. Just use Windex or something.

Dude! How could I forget your tiger socks! It's not every day that you get to watch Jeremy Taggart (the man of huge, silly socks) make fun of someone's socks!

Neat! I love finding stuff I didn't even know I had! And, yeah, I know what you mean about second skin. Mine are, too... but when you walk around ALL day in them, it gets painful... cos of the lack of padding. :uh:
