I wasn't surprised with the Calgary win last night, I had a feeling the travel might have an effect on the wings as well as playing in the saddledome.

I was confused however by the decsion to scratch Hurdler who scored last game. Score and assist if I'm not mistaken.

Instead they put in Bertuzzi. I know we need to get him into the lineup to shake off the dust but blah not at hurdlers expense.

Was also surprised to see him on the power play line. You don't really need physical presense on the power play, we need to get goal scorers on the PP.

I continue to see Lang do jack squat out there.

It was rare to see Lidstrom make a mistake by going for the interception and missing leaving Iginla open to take the game winning shot.

*yawns*
And these 10 pm starts arn't helping my performance at work any.

umm damn it...
holmstrom! thats it
i probably spelled it wrong but whatever.. i dont care.. anyways... that guy.. doesnt he play the pp? he used to for sure but im not sure if he still does.. all he did was sit in front of the net and go for garbage goals/etc

The ice certainly kept slanting downhill torwards kippursoft in the 2nd / 3rd periods but there was a lot of shooting from the outside and not much getting to the net

I was pissed at Hasek again for taking a dive and again it lead to a goal. Jackass.

Lang just about added an insurance goal for Calgary at the end with some stupid ass blind pass directly to a flame.

If he could've managed to keep the puck Hasek could had skated off for the 6th man.

BENCH LANG!!

No! The flamers must lose! >:O

and wtf is up with detroit? Are they going to choke again and lose in round one like they did last year? :I

i'll laugh if they choke again
cept that i dunno how to incorporate choke/choking/choke artists into "red wings" ala "Dead wings" as they used to be known (they had so many older guys then tho.. now they have a lot more younger kids)
