i wish the b-sides were on there too...its not like it wouldnt fit on the cd...and i would most definitely not take off "diamonds and coal"...that is top 3 for me on the album for sure...along with "dig" and "oil and water"...and honourable mention to "earth to bella part 1"
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

Pretty happy another album will be in the works once Mike finishes this semester at Harvard. Hopefully it will be better than the two new songs from Monuments and Melodies (Black Heart Inertia was kind mediocre, and Midnight Swim wasn't that bad but wasn't too memorable).

I'm a fan of most things Make Yourself through Light Grenades. I like S.C.I.E.C.E., but haven't heard all of it. I don't really like Fungus Amongus though...

I haven't heard all of Make Yourself, but I have things from Morning View to Light Grenades. Not much, I guess. I don't like the older, funkier stuff, really.

I love Just a Phase.

Just a Phase is pretty much my favorite Incubus song. From the Pink Floyd-esque intro, to the explosion of energy at the second chorus, to the "hoo-eyy-oo's" towards the end. It's just an all around awesome song.

The intro bothers me a little bit. I usually skip it. It's just so, you know... flowing, and almost bouncy in the beginning, and then it has that pent-up energy in the first chorus that fizzles out. Another verse, then BAM!

Album will officially be out early - mid 2010 on Epic/Immortal Records probably with Brendan O' Brian producing i hope. Love his work.

Yeah, I'd say O'Brien is the most likely candidate, since he produced the two new songs. Let's hope the new album is better than those two. They're so forgettable.

That being said, though, O'Brien is one of my favorite producers. From his work from Pearl Jam, to STP, to Incubus, to Billy Talent's new album.

Pretty sure there is no official info on the new album yet. I think some of the members may have speculated on when to expect a new album but that's about it.

There's a huge difference between an "official" statement and a band member estimating when the next album will be released that they haven't even started recording yet.

Also, it's not really official if it's something as broad as one year. It's not official until it's something specific.

True that. Brenden did Incubus and Billy Talent and mixed for OLP. I pretty much love him.

In other news, I went out and bought Make Yourself. That album is amazing. I'm deeply in love with the Warmth.
