I can now tell I have completely different music taste from everyone else on the board.

I saw the Gibson Brothers and Great Big Sea (but not much of Nickel Creek) on Monday, am seeing Kathleen Edwards and Carbon Leaf on Thursday, and Rockwell Church on Saturday. And I was going to see Train the 25th or 26th, but instead I'm going to attempt to see the Yankees-Red Sox game on the Friday, while my parents and cousin are coming up Saturday morning.

Koufax concert = absolutely superb.

I will only tell you about the Koufax set. First off, I was kind of let down because they only played for about an hour because Rob's voice was dying and they had some random guy playing bass for them. So no 18 song set this time. Oh well. They open up with Let Us Know and move into Break It Off. After that, Rob starts talking to the crowd. He says he's going to dedicate this song to someone, here's what he said. "This song goes out to a mischievous kid I know. His name is Alan and he just had his 19th birthday. He likes to party. OK, I don't really know the kid, but here's 'Come Back To Life'" I damn near shat myself. Lauren was ever so nice to have get him to dedicate the song to me. Koufax went on to play some old songs, some new songs, a Cure song, and we all had a really good time. The picture lady for the band seem obsessed with taking pictures of me and Lauren, seeing that in nearly every shot of the crowd, her face was front and center. Maybe picture-lady has a secret lifestyle? Who knows? All I can say is that lady looks awful niiiiiice.

So yeah, I had a great time, as did Bethany. I am happy I went, even if it was with Lauren.

went and saw the foos last night in seattle for the first time in 3 years, what a kick ass show

The set list was great, they played a good variety from each album ,

my highlight was the extra long version of stacked actors, filled with solos, it seemed like each song just when you thought it was coming to an end, it was actually just the beginning

I just bought the tickets, and to my chagrin, they charged me, but they didn't tell me if i got general admission or not, so I am paranoid.

yeah i dunno if i wanna buy the tickets just yet cause it doesn't say if you get main floor or balcony and i sure as hell don't want balcony

if it doesn't specifically say floor on ticketmaster.com then it is NOT floor.

just so you know.

EDIT: i totally lied. I searced for both on ticketmaster and both had them and neither said in the box wether it was floor or balcony, so you probably got floor. i said that because in the past it's always said floors if they were floors and nothing if it was balcony.

did dave run around the venue during stacked actors? its so awesome when he does that....and in the san antonio show he ran through the part between the barricade and the stage, and i got to pat him on the back and i felt really cool....
